As required, it is necessary to have VMware vSphere version of the minimum VMware vSphere Essentials Kit, it is required for operations using VMware vStorage API for Data Protection (VADP).

Therefore, it is not possible to perform backup/restore operations of virtual instances located on individual, unlicensed ESXi servers
