Load balancers

The load balancing service, or load balancing, consists of appropriately redirecting traffic arriving at the virtual load balancer further to selected backends.

Load balancers in the Atman Cloud service are based on the Octavia project.

In this part of the guide, we will describe the basic architecture of this solution and typical load balancer configurations. In Atman Cloud we do not restrict other configurations provided by the Octavia project, hence for advanced solutions we refer to the guide on the OpenStack project website.
